A recent analysis revealed 2.9 million U.S. women hold leadership roles in the workplace
DALLAS, March 9, 2020 – Women hold 300% more leadership jobs than they did 10 years ago, according to a recent Infogroup database research team analysis.
For International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8, Infogroup, a leading-provider of data and data-driven marketing solutions, examined historical records from 2010 to 2020 of women who held leadership roles from entry-level management to top executives. IWD is celebrated yearly in March to promote women’s rights and gender equality.
“More female leadership shows progressive change for companies, especially at the executive level,” said Michael Iaccarino, Chairman and CEO of Infogroup. “We are thankful our historical business and consumer data allow us to share these findings with everyone.” In 2010, Infogroup had 724,296 records of women with job titles including CEO, president, director, manager, and dozens of others. That climbed by nearly 2.2 million leadership jobs to an all-time-high of 2,907,708 in 2020. Infogroup’s business and consumer data includes millions of records, which can be segmented by job title, gender, age, ethnicity, and more. Here’s how many records Infogroup had from 2010 to 2020 of women with leadership job titles:
